The short version
| Topic | What this site does |
|---|---|
| Birth details you enter | Sent to our server only to calculate the chart. Not stored and not logged. |
| Accounts | None. You never sign up or log in. |
| Cookies | This site sets none. |
| Advertising and analytics scripts | None. |
Text after # in the page address |
Your input, kept there so you can reopen the same chart. Anyone who gets the link sees it. |
| Request logs | Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard logs of IP address, time and page. |
What happens to the birth details I enter?
When you press "Calculate chart" on the saju calculator, your browser sends what you entered to our server: the birth date, the birth time (or "Birth time unknown"), the birthplace or time zone, and the gender. The server calculates the chart from those details and sends the result back to your browser. That is the only use made of them. We do not store your birth details, and we do not write them to a log.
The saju compatibility calculator handles two people's details in the same way. Both sets are sent only to calculate and compare the two charts, and neither is stored or logged.
The chart comes from a fixed algorithm, not from an AI model. The calculation itself is described on the About and method page.
Are there accounts, cookies, ads or analytics?
Plain Saju has no accounts, so you never sign up or log in. The site sets no cookies. Its pages carry no advertising scripts and no analytics scripts.
Why is my input in the page address after the # sign?
After the calculator shows your chart, the page address ends with a # followed by a short string of text. That text is your input: the birth date, the birth time, the gender, and the birthplace or time zone you chose. It is kept in the address so that you can bookmark the page or reopen it later and see the same chart without filling in the form again.
The text after the # stays in your browser. A browser does not send that part of an address when it requests a page. When you open an address that contains it, the page reads the text and sends those details to our server to calculate the chart again, with the same handling as before: nothing is stored or logged.
Anyone you share that link with sees the same input. To share the site without your birth details, delete the # and everything after it before you send the link.
The saju compatibility calculator does not add this text. Neither person's details are put in the page address.
What does the hosting provider log?
Plain Saju is hosted by Vercel. Vercel keeps standard request logs for operations and security: the IP address a request came from, the time and the page requested.
Your birth details are not part of any address requested from this site. The calculator sends them in the body of its request, and a browser leaves out the text after the # when it requests a page.
